Besalu is inland from the city of Girona with easy access via local buses or a hire car, journey time is about 40 minutes from the airport. The village is steeped in history and has many shops, bars and restaurants. Sited mobiles are very rare now, campsites along the coast will not sell private plots and will only work with holiday companies. The Besalu campsite is a stunning location offering a more relaxed family feel. This is not your typical sea & sand site.
